SATISFACTION
The customer is vital to the continued success of any business. Retention of customers and referrals from delighted customers are what drives future business. We must learn the importance of flexibility and thinking out of the box to meet the unique needs of each customer. Only 4% of unhappy customers return to a business. Between 54% and 70% will do business again if their complaint is resolved to their satisfaction. If the complaint is resolved quickly, this figure climbs to 95%. A dissatisfied customer will tell as many as ten other people about their problem. Customers who have had their complaints satisfactorily resolved will tell an average of five people about the positive treatment they have received. |
